第二届土地与环境艺术国际双年展于2019年夏天在瑞士开幕，将持续至10月21日。本次双年展以“水平-垂直”为主题，共展出15件艺术作品，游客们可以免费参观。一系列永久装置作品分布在莱茵峡谷、瓦伦达斯、韦尔萨姆和滕纳等地开阔的自然景观当中，参观路线的跨度约为25公里。参观者们可以选择步行或乘坐私人及公共交通工具到达展览现场，但展览的最后一段路程需要步行通过。

This summer the second international Land Art Biennial take place in the Safiental with the theme HORIZONTAL – VERTICAL. Until autumn" there are 15 artworks distributed throughout the entire Safiental which can be hiked to and visited for free. From the Rhine Gorge" Valendas and Versam to Tenna" Safien Platz" Thalkirch" Turrahus and Wanna" temporary works are situated in the open landscape over a distance of around 25 kilometres. Works are accessible on foot" as well as by private and public transport" however the final leg of the journey must be generally accomplished with a walk of between a few minutes and over an hour.

All works are made exclusively for the Safiental and partly created with the active participation of the local population. Arising out of a dialogue with the landscape and nature" as well as in relation to historic Land Art" the works included in the exhibition draw from transdisciplinary and participatory practices. Some of the works take inspiration from historic Land Art and integrate aspects of society" the environment and education in their production. A large number of the artists were lecturers at the Alps Art Academy in Tenna" an international summer academy on Land and Environ- mental art" which involved over 30 participants visiting to Safiental from 20 countries.

Here" and at Safiental Tourism information points and in the village shops and inns in Safiental" visitors can obtain this art map free of charge which will provide the exact locations of the individual works of art and information complimentary to the exhibition and participating artists.We wish you many surprising encounters and experiences with the art underneath the clear skies in the unique landscape of the Safiental.
